Many years ago there once stood a small cinema in an area of Wigan, and it's name was UNIT 4. It may have not looked like much from the outside, but inside was a magical world that captivated a young Scott Davenport. Flash forward a few years and the projectors of that old picture house have stopped turning, and the building is now under new custodians.
But as homage to what first inspired Scott, he chose to take the name of the first cinema that he ever stepped into, and now the name goes on in UNIT 4 FILMS. Sentimental maybe, but what the young boy, and now the man, took from those early lessons is how powerful the moving image can be.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Film, TV, Literature and Theatre Studies from Leeds University, Scott then went onto work in the Film and TV industry in various different roles. He has worked on a number of high end projects including Academy Award winning films to high end TV drama and for leading commercial and sporting brands.
